Find Danny Ings Game

M&C Saatchi reached out to Stickee as their client was in need of an online game that would drive user engagement and promote a competition.

That game would sit on the Southampton Football Club website over a short period of time as the objective would be to drive user activity by using their social channels as a way to promote.

The solution

As we have vast experience in building software games, we wanted to use (at the time) Southampton's key player Danny Ings as the driver and face of the game. The fundamentals of the game were similar to the traditional ‘where’s wally’, whereby people would need to find Danny Ings in a crowded image whilst trying to beat the timer. We fully anticipated ways of getting around the puzzle by consistently retrying, but we manipulated the logic so that Danny Ings would not be in the same position.

It was a huge success as there were many happy Southampton fans that had won prizes off the back of this online game.
