In today’s Meet the Team post we’re interrogating Craig Mitchell, who joined the team earlier this month as our Mobile Provider Manager.
stickee: How did you end up working for stickee?
CM: I’ve worked in the mobile telecoms industry for about 5 years. When the role at stickee came up I felt like it was the perfect next step for my career. I actually have a degree in Forensic Science but I was never interested in turning that into a career, unless I could have been an extra on CSI!
stickee: Can we get you a tea or coffee? How many sugars?
CM: Never a tea, always a coffee, with no sugar. I do love a latte or a cappuccino though, depending what time of day it is. No coffee after 3:30 pm for me otherwise I can’t sleep properly.
stickee: What were your first impressions of stickee?
CM: Well, the first thing you see when you enter the stickee building is a Tiki Bar so I knew I would fit in fine here. It’s like a chilled out little family where everyone chips in to make it a great place to work.
stickee: If you have a life outside of stickee, what do you get up to?
CM: I have a little boy who has just turned one. He takes up most of my time. I enjoy metal detecting on beaches and visit my Dad in Cornwall whenever I can.
stickee: It’s lunchtime, someone offers to get you whatever takeaway you desire, what do you go for?
CM: Big Mac, Large Chocolate Shake, Medium Fries. I know it’s bad for you but it tastes so good!
stickee: What’s your favourite book, film and album?
CM: Favourite Book – The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller. I love Batman and this is the best Batman story ever written. Favourite Film – Forrest Gump. Tom Hanks is great in this film and I must’ve seen it a hundred times, easily. Album – Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band By The Beatles. Just a cracking album from start to finish!
stickee: What’s the best holiday you’ve ever been on?
CM: In 2014 my wife and I got married in Greece. We had a week in Zante with our friends and family and then went off to Kefalonia for 2 weeks of peace and quiet!
